Governance

The Birkbeck Institute for the Study of Antisemitism is a research centre at Birkbeck, University of London and is based in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Management Group

The Director of the Institute reports to the Management Group, comprising senior academic representatives from Birkbeck and chaired by the Vice Chancellor, Professor David Latchman.

Advisory Group

The Advisory Group encompasses colleagues drawn from the Institute’s associates and partner organizations representing a range of disciplines and interests. The Advisory Group provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and the development of new initiatives.

Statement – 1

The founding principle of the Institute is that the study of antisemitism is vital to understanding racialization, racism and religious intolerance.
