Philip was the founder of the Helen Bamber Centre for the Study of Mass Violence at Kingston University, and is a Trustee of The Wiener Holocaust Library.
He is the author of (amongst others) Genocide since 1945 (Routledge, 2012) and Nations and Nationalism (Edinburgh University Press, 2006) (with Howard Wollman). He is currently writing a book on Cosmopolitanism and Antisemitism.
