At this important event, Freddie Knoller, survivor of Auschwitz and Jean-Marc Dreyfus, Holocaust Historian, talk about persecution, internment and survival. A public discussion follows.
Freddie Knoller was born in Vienna in 1921. After fleeing to France, he spent two years in occupied Paris before being caught by the Vichy Police and deported to Auschwitz in October 1943. Freddie published his memoirs: Desperate Journey: Vienna-Paris-Auschwitz (2002).
